South Africans claims that the country has one of the best constitutions in the world. Many would also say South Africa has the most violent crime. Criminals think nothing of raiding police stations.

The wanton disregard for human life is scary. Criminals, who disregard the constitution, are beter protected by it than the victims.

And last but not least, the government seems to be doing nothing about it. They the ANC set an example by not disciplining its own ‘wayward’ probably hoping that the populace will forget.

The constitution of South Africa is seriously flawed as it gives a wide variety of rights to every person. For the criminal its a blessing.

True Life Scenario

At a busy shopping complex a 10 member gang hold up the security guards of a armoured truck. A heavy gunfight ensues in which 2 security guards and 5 innocent bystanders are wounded by the robbers. Four of the armed robbers are wounded, while the rest manage to get away.

The police arrive and the robbers are taken away to the best private hospital in Johannesburg, The two security officials and wounded bystanders are taken to one of our state hospital ( remember Dr Beetroot). The wounded are elderly, on minor pensions so private care out of the question. One security guard and two bystanders die….

The robbers, of which one is treated for nearly a month survive.

They escape from the police cells at the court house and,

5 years later are still on the loose!!!!!
